What happens in a treatment
During an auricular therapy session, the practitioner uses a rounded proder and rubs over the ear surface. Feeling for tightness, lumps and seeing if you feel any pain. Then up to 5 points will be worked on with this tool to assist in helping the person to improve. Towards the end of the session a bead which is usually a small metal bead is placed on the ear with a small tape. Which you will hardly notice and left on there. Then for the next 2 - 3 days you will be instructed how to rub these points to continue the treatment while at home. People will have various results to this, they may feel nothing or may have an amazing improvement in health. It may take one or more sessions to work. But, generally after the 3rd session we will look at it to see if you have any real improvement. The thing, is if it has been used in China for thousands of years, similar to acupressure, acupuncture, foot and hand reflexology etc. When you look at the health of Chinese, would you not think these modalities work?
